LESYA'S ROUTES FOR "LOCAL HISTORY"

We know her as Lesya Ukrainka. And we often lock ourselves in the borders of Ukraine. Even more often we regret the disease that killed her young. Nevertheless, Larysa Kosach knew no bounds in her 42 years. Neither geographical nor literary.

Lesya's routes, compiled by literary critic Vira Ageeva, list more than 20 cities around the world where the turning points in the writer's life took place. This map of how Lesya Ukrainka went far beyond Ukraine has not lost Ukraine.

This project was created on Mapbox GL + html5 + css3. The map is based on the project's own style, created in the Mapbox Studio, and contains prepared layers - the historical boundaries of the part of the 1900' World, POIs, water routes, and modern city planning.
Map control tools have been added in the final version.

So far only in Ukrainian.

The mobile version of the map was the basis for further development of the project. Previous versions were rejected by me, precisely because of the complexity of working in mobile devices.
